Description
Alejandro Ramirez appeals from his conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon. See Tex. Penal Code Ann. 46.04 (West 1994). Before a trial on the merits, Ramirez filed a motion to suppress statements he allegedly made on the night of the offense. In a single point of error, Ramirez argues that the trial court erred in admitting his confession by failing to determine if the police officers scrupulously honored his right to remain silent as required by Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436, 478-79 (1966). We overrule the point of error and affirm the trial courts judgment.
